Eric Jiaju Lee earned his Master of Fine Arts degree at Hunter College in New York City where he has been residing for the past fifteen years, while also working in Beijing, China where he has established a studio practice in recent years. Lee has been exhibiting regularly in exhibitions locally and abroad, with his works belonging to international private and corporate collections. The recipient of numerous awards, residencies and honors, Lee is currently an adjunct professor of fine arts at Hunter College of the City University of New York, and Hudson County Community College. He is also a lecturer at museums and institutions in the greater New York area.
Lee also enjoys applying his abilities to the multidisciplinary world of dance and theater where he has collaborated in conceptual development, costume design, music composition, and videography. As a professional musician and avid rock climber, Mr. Lee draws directly from his experience as a performer in another artistic discipline, as well as from his personal interaction with nature. |
